Preventive Care
Vaccinations, protection from fleas, ticks, heartworm and intestinal parasites.

We plan vaccinations and parasite protection during the examination, based on the pet's age and condition — not according to a pre-set calendar.
What preventive care covers
Preventive care includes vaccinations and protection from fleas, ticks, heartworm and intestinal parasites. These are procedures that need to be repeated, so we schedule them in a way that's sustainable to maintain.
Every preventive visit includes a brief clinical check-up. This is often an opportunity to notice a change early — before it becomes a reason for an urgent visit.
What to bring with you
Your pet's health record if you have one, the date of the last vaccination, and the name of the parasite product you've been using.
When should a puppy be vaccinated?
We agree on the first vaccination and the rest of the schedule during the examination, based on age, health condition and whether the puppy has already received a vaccine. We write the date of the next dose in the vaccination booklet.
How to protect a dog from fleas and ticks?
Protection against fleas and ticks is part of regular preventive care and is carried out with products we choose according to the pet's species, age and weight. We give our recommendation during the examination, because the products and schedule differ for dogs and cats.
What is heartworm and how can you protect against it?
Heartworm is a parasite transmitted by mosquito bites and requires regular prevention throughout the mosquito season. We plan protection against heartworm and intestinal parasites together with vaccination, during the examination.
